Intelligence streaming in confirms that there is ongoing armed
attack and gunfire in Shafa, Borno State, North-Eastern Nigeria.
The armed attackers stormed
Shafa and other parts of Hawul Area shooting and attacking residents and major
structures. So far, a Girls School has been attacked and all telecommunication
stations burnt down.
Casualty figure remains indeterminate at this time as chaos
currently reigns and attack continues.
We strongly advise that all personnel within and around this axis
exercise extreme caution.
