Incoming intelligence confirms ongoing armed
activity and gunfire in Shafa, Borno State, North-Eastern Nigeria.
Armed individuals entered Shafa and other parts of the Hawul Area, targeting residents and major structures. So far, a girls' school has been targeted and all telecommunication
stations have been damaged.
The number of casualties is currently unknown as the situation remains chaotic and ongoing.
We advise all personnel within and around this area to exercise extreme caution.
