Fresh intelligence coming in confirms that armed terrorists have
stormed Damasak Abadan in Borno State, North-Eastern Nigeria.
Gunshots have intensified with
indiscriminate shooting underway as well as burning down of landmark
structures in the bid by the terrorists to take over the area.
Casualty figure cannot be determined at this time as gunfire is
currently ongoing.
We advise that all personnel within and around this axis exercise
extreme caution.
